The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I have been making marks on blank surfaces since I could hold a pencil in my little hands. While the little girls in Kindergarden played house, I spent time at the easel and in my own world. My education has always centered around art - special projects and Saturday classes throughout elementary and junior high school, majoring in Commercial Art in High School, and working toward a degree in Graphic Design at Tyler School of Art/ Temple University. I have been painting formally since 2006. I have enjoyed exploring techniques in acrylic textured painting. I am also a bit of a computer nerd so playing with light and color excites me as well.
